Well it has been an extremely long time since I've last been on here... So long I'm that I'm reading The Fellowship of the Ring again as I was in my last blog post over 12 months ago! So firstly I would like to apologise for not replying to comments and favourites, I am truly grateful to you all as well as those who have simply viewed my work. A Levels really don't allow any spare time for even coming on art websites! I promise I will have plenty of new work uploaded soon as I have plenty to show, 

Well it's been a while since I last posted on here, artwork or a journal entry, as I've been busy busy busy with school work etc. Not very exciting but I've finished now! Exams, coursework done and dusted and a week off! So that't the first reason to celebrate, a nice holiday at last and some time to get back to my own artwork. The second reason is that it's our Queen, Elizabeth II's Diamond Jubilee and so the whole of Britain has come together to celebrate. Lastly the Olympic Flame has finally arrived in Britain and came past the front of my house just last week! In celebration of the Jubilee and holding the Olympics I've been drawing several portraits of members of the Royal Family as well as portraits of British famous people. Will hopefully posting some of these over the next few weeks as well as the art work from my AS Greek Mythology Coursework project. Thank you to everybody who's favourited, commented on or looked at my work, it means a lot! Keep enjoying my work!

Hellooooo anybody who might happen to read this! Well what have I been doing with art lately you may ask?... I have nearly finished my Greek Mythology art project for my AS coursework and will be starting my exam project this week I've chosen 'Time to Spend' from the booklet and am going to do a project based on the zoo. So I'm off to London Zoo next week to take my photos and then I will get started on my artwork!

Happy New Year everybody! 2012 is finally here, how fast it has come?! Well this year we have got the Olympics coming to our country which is surely to be one of the highlights of the year, I'm sure everybody is looking forward to that! Aswel as that I'm really looking forward to getting creative with art this year... have got some big plans for what I want to do in 2012. I will be carying on with my Greek Mythology project in school until the end of January then will be uploading all of that later on in the year. Still have lots of portraits from the last year to upload aswel as my vampires GCSE project and portraits I have done over Christmas to get on here. So lots to do! I'm planning on doing some portraits based on the twilight films with the last installment finding its way to the movie screens this summer. I will also be doing some artwork to celebrate the release of the hobbit movie (part 1) at the end of this year which I am very excited about! The New Year's Resolutions are to make my own art website this year and get it up and running and also get one of my celebrity portraits to be seen by the person themself, wish me luck!

So now I'm back to school I haven't really had much time to do my own art, however, I have done quite a lot for school work. I have chosen the theme 'Greek Mythology' for my first project as it is something that has always interested me and I really wanted to have a go at fantasy art again. I will be working on this project until the end of January 2012. I have chosen 11 characters and 7 of my friends have modelled them for me along with myself. The characters I have chosen are Zeus, Poseidon, Hades, Athena, Aphrodite, Eros, Gaia, Atlas, Medusa, Chiron and a Mermaid. I have taken all of my own photos which I am now in the process of enhancing through computer editing after which I will produce a wide range of artwork from using various forms of media. I plan to experiment with new media which I haven't used before so it should be quite fun! Will keep you posted on how it's goingad will be posting some work soon!
